What the ‘Shazam!’ post-credits scene means

In “Shazam!,” teenager Billy Batson is transported to a magical realm and inherits superpowers that he’s not quite ready to deal with.

At first, Billy (Asher Angel) is very much just a teenager with a chip on his shoulder trapped in the body of an extremely muscular adult (Zachary Levi). But in true comic book superhero movie fashion, he eventually realizes that his great power does come with great responsibility (regardless of brand affiliation), and embraces his role as Shazam.

Wall Street analysts say Tesla's first-quarter deliveries were 'substantially worse' than expected

Tesla says it delivered 50,900 Model 3 cars in the first quarter, below the 52,450 analysts expected in a consensus estimate from FactSet.Overall deliveries also fell short."Volume expectations for the company's products in 2019 are too high with consumer demand likely lower as subsidies phase out in the US," Goldman Sachs analyst David Tamberrino says."Tesla's 1Q19 vehicle production & deliveries report was substantially worse than expected," J.P. Morgan analyst Ryan Brinkman says.

Wall Street analysts were very disappointed in Tesla's first-quarter delivery and production figures.

Shares of the company plunged 9 percent late Wednesday after Tesla said it delivered 50,900 Model 3 cars in the first quarter, below the 52,450 analysts expected in a consensus estimate from FactSet. Overall deliveries also fell short of consensus estimates.


Eagles set to play entire 'Hotel California' album live for first time ever

The legendary rock band the Eagles announcedthey’re playing their iconic “Hotel California” album live, in its entirety for the first time ever, this fall in two Las Vegas shows.

In the band’s only two North American performances this year, the Eagles will perform the whole album twice in performances Sept. 27 and 28 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The group announced on its website that the shows will also include additional songs from their greatest hits play list.

“Hotel California,” released in 1976, is the third best-selling U.S. album in history and is the Eagles’ definitive LP. The album resulted in two No. 1 hits – “Hotel California” and “New Kid in Town” – and earned a Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 1977.

The band incudes Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmidt and Vince Gill, with Deacon Frey, the son of the band’s late founding member Glenn Frey, who  is also performing.

Tickets are going for $179, not including Ticketmaster fees.

Eagles To Roost In Vegas, Perform ‘Hotel California’ In Full For First Time

It will be welcome to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas this September, as Eagles will hold court for two nights with full performances of its entire Hotel California album.

The Sept. 27-28 gigs mark the first time the band has performed the iconic 1976 release live in its entirety, as well as the band’s only North American shows of the year. The two-night stand will feature the lineup of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Deacon Frey and Vince Gill.

An American Express presale begins April 8 at 10 a.m. PDT and tickets go on sale to the general public April 12 at 10 a.m. PDT. VIP packages will also be available.

Besides the Vegas shows, Eagles have dates scheduled throughout Europe in May, June and July.

'Avengers: Endgame' ticket pre-sale is chaos - The Avengers weren't prepared for Thanos and it appears that some online ticket sites weren't prepared for the Avengers.

Pre-sale tickets for "Avengers: Endgame," the latest film from Disney's Marvel Studios which opens on April 26, went on sale Tuesday morning, prompting fans to flock to sites like Fandango and AMC to grab their tickets.

But those who logged onto Fandango found themselves in a virtual queue for some theater chains.

"You're now in line for tickets," a graphic on Fandango's site read.

The graphic, which pops up after consumers try to buy tickets for certain theaters, says that ticket buyers will automatically be taken to the site when their turn comes up. The graphic displays an estimated wait time, which varies from person to person.
